COVID-19 Mitigation REVIEW Moment: Cover that cough and how to safely wear a mask! (5-10 min)
COVID-19 is a virus, so it spreads with particles from coughs, sneezes, or other activities that involve things leaving our body.
So, what happens if you do need to cough?
Cover your mouth! Use either your elbow, your hands, or a tissue to cover it up!
THROW THAT TISSUE AWAY, MY FRIEND.
IMMEDIATELY WASH THOSE HANDS!
Spend at least 20 seconds (a full swing through of Happy Birthday) to wash your hands with soap and water.
If you cannot find a sink, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Search online for a few visuals of what types of hand sanitizer stations may look like in the public.
MASK UP! Always wear a mask when you are in the community, outside, at a retail store, and any place that is outside of your house. Do you have a favorite mask?
